First of all, I would like to tell you that I really have fun on taking online test just now. I’m just had finished taking my online test about ICT during this week tutorial of Language and ICT class. In my opinion, I feel that taking online test is challenging and very useful. As I have done the test, this is my result of it.

The score that I have gained is just based on the ICT basic level. Before I do the test, I have been introduced about it in class of SKBP1023, so I’m sure that I can do it well. Though this is my first time taking online test, I found it much easier for me in order to determine my ability in ICT knowledge.

I feel that is easy and interesting because we just need a computer; sit in front of it and answer the questions provide directly by just key in the answer using the keyboard. It also saves our time a lot as all the instruction has given online and do not need our lecturer explanations about what we should do and waste time to distributes questions paper for students to take the test. It was really helpful for us. Besides, it also provides us an immediate feedback at the end of the quiz. We didn’t have to wait the test results conventionally as we will get it directly. Between, we can just select to answer any questions number randomizes. We can leave the questions first if we could not answer it and turn to answer it later. When leave about it, the color of the questions number will turn to red which make us easier to check which question that we did not answer at first.

Other than that, as for the security features, I feel it is quite well as we need to key in our username and password in order to answer the questions. However, as what my lecture said, the test taker also can cheat at the online test. For instance they can key in other username and use their password which is difficult to detect. Besides, they also can cheat during the test such as have a note book in front of them and ask for their friends to give the answer for the particular questions since nobody handle them at that time as what we have in the examination hall. In addition, a variety of technical problems can also occur in online testing, but the most significant ones are server failure and browser incompatibilities. The easiest way to tackle the compatibility problem is to ensure that all test takers have exactly the same browser and browser version. If that is not possible, the next best solution is to offer a standard version of the test with scripting and an alternative, no-frills version that runs on any browser.

If I are ask to rate for this course, I will give full marks to all the lecturers who has been patient a lot to teach me. I thank to them because have introduced a useful and informative knowledge to me. This is because, as far as we concern, ICT has become the most important thing to peoples nowadays because everything is all being through the internet.

Here, I would like to suggest a few suggestions that I think really needs an improvement. Maybe, we can have bilingual language such Malay and English for the test as what we have now is only in Malay language. Through it, peoples also can improve their English knowledge instead of ICT knowledge. Thumbprint also can be used to improve the security features to avoid the misused of identity among people as other people can used other identity to do the online test.

Finally, I still want to continue blogging even after I have finished this course. This is because I really enjoyed doing this course and it has become one of the platforms for me to improve my writing skills. I will always remember what I have learn in this course that I did not know before this and I will keep all memories that we have spent together during class. For my lecturer, I’m truly sorry for all my fault while being your student and I hope that you can forgive me. Also, I would like to take this opportunity to thank to all my respective lecturers because they have helped me a lot. So, thanks Datin Dr. Norizan Abdul Razak, Dr. Zaini Amir and Dr. Pramela Krish for all the things you have done to me, I will remember all of you forever. Lastly, wish me luck for my final exam!!!
